Malcolm Jagamarra Maloney was born approximately Jan 1955 to Minnie Napanangka, a Warlpiri woman, at Aningie Station, about 100kms east of the Lander River. Malcolm’s father was Irish Bushman Gerry Maloney.
Jagamarra lived with his Warlpiri brotherhood until the age of 7 up-to-the-minute 8 years of age when sand was removed due to his fairer colouring. He was taken to Adelaide and lived with several foster families.
