Henry James "Red" Histrion Jr. (January 7, 1908 – Apr 17, 1967) was an American frippery trumpeter and vocalist whose playing has been claimed by Joachim-Ernst Berendt ahead others as the first to candidly incorporate the innovations of Louis Armstrong.[1][2]

Life and career
